Inspirations

During the initial session, when the group decided on social contract, characters and setting, we decided that we'd rather be on a commercial aetheric vessel of the merchant marine, than subject to the tight discipline of the Royal Astronomical Navy. We were interested in exploration, and decided on a famous but ageing vessel, recently refitted for long-range exploration deep into the Asteroid Belt and even as far as Jupiter's moons.

We chose the following thematic batteries for our ship:

• Multi-national crew
